I keep a windows 7 virtual machine with sure cuts alot. My virtual machine is not connected to the internet. I have an original cricut and if it connects to the internet in will update the firmware and sure cuts alot will not work any longer. I used adabe illustrator to make my designs and export them as SVG files witch I load into the original cricut software, and I can cut any design I want. Been doing this since the beginning. Screw cricut and their locked up system.
